Established in 2016, Ponosh Vascular – at the Hollywood Consulting Centre – is Perth’s premier private vascular practice, and is dedicated to the very best patient outcomes and experiences.

Our client, Stefan Ponosh, was very hands-on and enthusiastic about this project, and he brought a strong vision and distinctive Mid-Century Modern style to the brief.

SPH set out to combine his aesthetic wishes with excellent functionality, to create an open, welcoming and inviting space for patients and their families. It had to not only look beautiful, but also to meet the needs of a healthcare business.

Upon arrival, linear timber battens draw visitors towards the main focal point – the stone reception counter – which is also clad in narrow timber battens. Classic feature lighting to one side also helps to frame this area.

Because the main waiting area offered only limited space – and our client wanted a range of seating options – we designed a custom modular sofa with a biophilic element at the centre, in the form of lush planting.

In the main consulting room, the combination of deep navy walls, textured carpet and a bespoke Mid-Century designed desk – with walnut features throughout – creates the perfect executive suite.

The Mid-Century elements are carried through to the back-of-house areas, through the use of highlight furniture pieces, bespoke cabinetry, distinctive subway tiling and grouting colours, to name a few of the carefully considered elements.

Ponosh Vascular’s new space is open, welcoming and inviting whilst being consistent with a classic design style. Stefan and his office support staff are thrilled with the outcome. They love the final design and enjoyed being part of the design process.
